Staff are young and good humoured. Not like QANTAS. Different hiring and training despite being owned by QANTAS.
Food was good as was the service. I have flown with them a few times. No complaints.
Just remembered one- Woman at check in was VERY rude. Questioned me about my overweight bags despite the fact that I had rung to get authorisation for excess (from Sydney). It wasn't on the computer. The only thing she didn't do was call me a liar. She kept saying "what's it for?" Very rude. Luckily she was the only person like that.
You'll have no problems with them.
