I haven't used hotelclub but I've previously used hoteltravel and found them good. Just recently discovered asiarooms.com and found them without doubt the cheapest online booking agency. Booked accommodation in Singapore and Bali with them. They were very helpful when I accidentally booked a wrong date and they communicated with the resort to alter the booking for us at no charge.
