We only stayed 2 nights at the Puri.
The Mezzanine Restaurant out the front of the hotel complex served sensational food, definitely recommend this one. Normally I am not fond of eating in hotel restaurants, but we thoroughly enjoyed this one. Head to Sindhu Beach Markets, you can grab a bemo and head north or else take a walk along the beach - turn left at the beach at the back of the hotel and keep walking. We did this early morning, so enjoyed the scenery without much being open or busy.
Donald's is a must, but unfortunately it poured the night we were there, so couldn't stay seated on the beach sand for long.
