It seems that commissions to Travel Agents are to be abolished and, instead, T. Agents will have to make their living by charging a "Service Fee", on top of the Ticket Price, as yet undecided whether 20, 30 or $50 per ticket.
Woe is we.
As far as I know, Qauaintass and Air NZ are the first to set this up with the others expected to fall into line. My own small favourite T. Agent is giving away the business, because of it.
It could be that I have missed discussion on this, as I'm not on here a lot nowadays. Sorry to bore you, if this is the case.
