We stayed there last trip and found it very nice. The rooms were a little tired but the bed linen was crisp and spotless. From memory they were renovating quite a few of the rooms while we were there. The aircon was good and eating food in the pool was obscene. :-)
We had two kids with us and they enjoyed the pool but if you have young ones who cannot swim then there are better pools as the kids' isolated shallow end is pretty small and if they manage to climb the small dividing wall segregating the two parts then they drop off into much deeper water. I had to watch my autistic boy like a hawk, which detracted from my relaxation.
Front-of-house staff were very friendly as were the room cleaning staff.
We never ate at the hotel (apart from whilst in the pool) because we always like to go out and try somewhere different every day.
I would go back again.
