Don't bring the painted eggs or any thing to do with poultry back to Australia.
The eggs are "blown" however some of the fluid (albumen) still sticks.
There is a very great risk of Bird Flu being transferred this way.
So far Australia is clean of this disease.
If it does arrive here the only way to control it is to destroy all poultry within the area of the outbreak. This means all - including the backyard bantam pet and the ducks and the budgies.
