but so much depends on what you are looking for in your holiday.
Intercontinental is a true 5-Star Resort Hotel (with 5-Star prices); if you are looking to be able to walk outside the resort for lots of local Restaurants and market-style shops, then Jimbaran is NOT for you.
If you are looking at an area more "relaxed" than Kuta/Legian, yet still with great Beach Markets and superb Local Restaurants with food at very realistic prices, may I suggest you look at Sanur.
The Puri Santrian is a 4-Star Resort which is friendly, professional and offers a good range of Food & Beverage options - plus is just walking distance from some amazingly good and cheap local Restaurants. If you want 5-Star facilities without the pretense of the big "Chain" properties, then you could look at the "Santrian Club". Their website is www.santrian.com so have a look for yourself.
