This hotel is spread over several acres and is in a very quiet area compared to Kuta. In fact, when I stayed there, I felt like I wasn't in Bali at all.

Unless you've booked a suite, the rooms are quite dark, with very little natural light and the balconies are narrow and lack privacy.

Meals are very good but rather expensive, even by Australian standards. The buffet breakfast has everything you'd expect from a 5 star resort.

The main pool is enormous with a swim-up bar and the hotel is right on the beach. I don't have small children, so can't comment on the kids' club.

From my point of view, the hotel is just too big. It's also overpriced and very impersonal. I wouldn't stay there again.
