We stayed there last September when it was the Santika Villas. My husband and I are in our fifties and have been to Bali many, many times but have never enjoyed a hotel as much.
It is probably not as luxurious as some of the bigger hotels but I think this was the attraction. The staff are fantastic. It is quite expensive but everything is included. When we checked in I asked the receptionist what time breakfast was and he replied "anytime you want it to be".
You have a hotel car at your disposal whenever you want it - all included.
We asked where we could hire a DVD player and within ten minutes we had one in our room - all included.
Most days we were the only ones around the pool and the staff don't annoy you but are there as soon as you require anything.
It is also completely child free. (Love my grandkids but don't want them on a relaxing holiday).
Friends of mine just got back last week and say nothing much has changed - still as fantastic as ever.
