The rooms are very basic. Tiled floors, bed, bedside table, wardrobe, fridge, table and one chair. The hand basin is in the main room with the toilet and shower/bath in the bathroom. The air con worked great and we had no problems with anything. On the verandah there is a coffee table and 2 chairs. The pool has a swim up bar and a small shallow area for toddlers. The staff are fantastic and they have a 24 hour bar and food service. You are not allowed to drink your own alcohol around the pool, but if you do it discreatly you'll be ok. I think this is where they make the most money with people lazing around the pool and booking up drinks. We put our chairs and coffee table on the grassed area near our cottage and had a "duty free" party with our family and friends. Value for money I think it is great as I would sooner have the extra money to spend on shopping and sightseeing. As for photos go on the net and just type in Garden View Cottages Kuta and there is a site that has true to life photos of the rooms and pool area. They are in the process of renovating the cottages and there are four nearing completion. They are really lovley with all new furnishings and a totally new bathroom. We were told that they would only be a bit more expensive as they want to still keep the cottages budget. Hope this is of some help. Have a great hoilday.
