...and stayed at the Ramada last Sept. The days we stayed at the hotel we didn't see them! There were plenty of other kids around to meet up with, some pool activities to keep them busy, and when they were hungry they'd charge lunch to the room. We didn't plan it that way, it just happened. All of the big Tuban hotels cater well to families, so I'm sure they'd all be the same. The Ramada was the most competitive for us.

We found the walk to Kuta quite okay. Yes there is more action there, but it depends on what your teenagers will be doing. My eldest HATES, HATES, HATES shopping and was too young to party. So Kuta would not have been of any benefit. And we adults find it too much.

Having been to Wet 'n' Wild in QLD in Jan 04 and way too much pool time at the Ramada, the guys only wanted a half day at Waterbom! They enjoyed their days sightseeing esp 3 Island ocean rafting with Bali Hai. I now wish I had taken them WWR as well. However the main reason for that trip was family reunion, and I felt obliged to spend time with family rather than solo sightseeing.
