just want to recommend a fantastic driver who we have used on many trips to bali,our latest in feb this year.He is very very very honest and great to converse with as he tells it straight and takes you where you want to go not all over the place where he thinks you should go.
getting back to the honesty part,on our way to the airport this time to leave the magical place I left my travel wallet on the back seat of his car with tickets passports,credit cards and $500 in cash inside it!!!
we had his mobile no but couldnt get hold of him,the hubby got in a cab to go back to where he stands and left me at the airport incase he came back.
30mins later ketut(an angel)came running up to me with wallet in tow appologising to me for my mistake!!He had returned to his stand and as he got out of his car saw the wallet in the back so jumped back in straight back to the airport.
Hubby spent an hour driving all over kuta and legian looking for ketut(even ending up at his house)I in the meantime asked ketut to ring the office where he stands and they told us my hubby was on the way to his house so we rang there and left a message with his wife to tell my hubby to come back to the airport!!
Ketut then stayed with me whilst we waited for my hubby to return because he wanted to make sure I was okay.Hubby got back with 20 mins to spare before the flight left and ketut appologised to him also and left us both with a smile!!
This is why i am recommending such a wonderful balinese man because he not only cared about our travel documents but also my wellbeing.
