Many people say they wouldn't bother with vaccinations because they have been 27 times before and nothing has ever happened to them... That's fine and I understand that mentality. I've been overseas many times and never had injections. But the bottom line is that it's a bit silly.

For the sake of a couple of hundred dollars, you are risking a lot. HepA vaccination will stay in your system for 20 years or something and typhoid for something like 4, if you get the booster. If you choose not to get the booster, it will cover you just for the period that you are away this time.

If you plan to go OS only once in the next 5 years, you can get away with $107 for the HepA/Typhoid vaccination... It's the booster that will add additional cost.

HepA really is an easy one to get and I think it's worth protecting against.
