we have an autistic son who spends half of every day watching movies and dvd's etc....obviously it gets expensive to buy original dvd's so each year when we go overseas we buy a heap of dvd's...when i heard this rumour some months ago I phoned customs direct and they said they had never heard of it and had no plans of stopping people with "personal amounts" of dvd's...maybe a different story if you bought in 500 movies yourself as this would be deemed a commercial quantity. all in all it seems to be an urban myth
