i would not bother with carting a car seat. They do drive very badly in Bali but they are never going fast enough to cause any hurt should there be an accident.
They also do not have seat belts so you could not strap the seat in anyway.
There is a kijang or 2 around that does have a child or babyseat though and i think Cracker organised this....look in archives at his posts(or carseat posts) or do a post to him.
Most hotels in Bali allow you to swim in their pools for a charge.....usually around 20 000rp per person.
