Hey all,
I'm a Bali virgin and am going to be there April 14-28. My friend who was coming with me can't make it after all. So I'm going to be alone! I still want to get out and enjoy the nightlife, though... so I'm looking for some fun people to hang out with while I'm there. I'm a 29 year old guy from the US west coast (Portland), and love to go out... don't want to be holed up in my hotel room at night.
Here's my itinerary:
- April 14 - 4 nights at the Hard Rock in Kuta
- April 18 - 5 quiet nights at the Ubud Village Hotel
- April 23 - 5 nights back in one of the southern beach areas (perhaps Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Sanur... haven't made my mind up yet or booked anything)
I plan on learning to surf and doing a lot of that while I'm there, plus some snorkeling, mountain biking, exploring, etc. and low-key stuff when I'm in Ubud. The main think I'm looking to hook up with other people for is the *night life* though... definitely want to enjoy all of the good pubs and clubs without having to walk into places alone!
