Everytime someone gets some information from a customs / airline employess the new rule is going to come into force from the "end of the month". It seems strange to me that it is never now, or the beginning of the month!
I think that the DVD's are so ridiculously cheap that you should just buy what you think you will actually watch, and if you lose them or have to surrender them it is the risk you take.
