Just back from the Balihai. Our daughter ( 7yrs old) didn't bother with the kiddies club the first 5 or so days as so many kids in the pool to play with. First day we left her, she was the oldest child there, but didn't seem to bother her as she loved the ladies who ran the place. They went swimming, walks on the beach, painted coral, cooked pizza, watched movies and played games. 2nd time she was happy to come out as no other kids there. ( had to leave her as hubby needed to go to the medical centre due to sore ears ) Found the hotel very child friendly, so you'll have no prob's even if they don't want to go to the club.
Some of the other kids we met wouldn't go to the club as they said it was for babies.... This is coming from 9 year old though, so guess it all depends on your child and how well they interact ? Our daughter loves younger children, so she got to mother them all.
