Hi Tessa, the cocktails started from 20,0000rph a drink so when happy hour started they where 10,000 which when we were there was $1.40 a drink. The most expensive was 50,0000 rph with happy hour being 25,000. My husband and our friend were drinking spirits and with a double shout each time during happy hour (4 double drinks a pop) worked out to be 70,0000. We spent 11 wonderful days there and our hotel bill came to a small $179.00AUS this included happy hour everyday, some breakfasts, dinner some nights, the use of the internet and the laundry service. Poppies lane has a laundry service as well. You may want to see how much but we found the prices at the hotel to be ok. I nearly made it through the cocktail menu. They had no live music but they do have a Balinese dancer perform on one night. If you go down the road a bit they have a live band most night.
If you can give me your email address I will send you some photos of the hotel and a really good web page address of the hotel that gives you a virtual walk through the foyer. I like you wanted to find out all I could before we left. We walked to most places in Kuta though some days it was far too hot to walk we caught a cab which was no more than 20,000. MAcdonalds was about 20 meters down from the hotel.
