I had a similar experience in Perth when we came back in Feb, 2005.
Maybe we look like the last of the hippies who knows! The worst thing for us was that I had put everything to declare, well everything we had purchased in 1 case...EXCEPT for a packet of cashews anyone would think it was a kilo of heroin the way they reacted...
I guess they have a job to do but I think being a bit diplomatic would be nice too.
