Last year my rich uncle was in Bali and mentioned he may sell one of his houses and build a few villa's. Next thing he mentioned meeting a lady and her Balinese husband in a restaurant who could help him. I straight away said "her name's not Melody is it?" Well, you guessed it, it was. I told him your story.
I have recently been talking to another couple who built villa's and were ripped off badly. It's a shame but it happens. As you said, you can't be too carefull. My hubby and I were thinking of going down that track but don't trust anybody with $250.000+ it would cost to set up. Just have to work longer and keep holidaying.
