I did not realise you had 4 children.I thought it was 1 toddler.I honestly can't think of any interconnecting rooms but I'm probably wrong.The superior rooms, out the front & the deluxe rooms out the back are both a good size but you'd be struggling to fit in 4 kids & I doubt it would be allowed.I have looked in the windows of the villa rooms right out the back but don't know how many they'd fit - I don't think it would be 6 people.I'm sure they were still only 1 bedroom.These villa rooms have a canopy over the bed & a private garden/courtyard overlooking the river right out the back.Personally I'd consider them more honeymooners rooms.I don't think there were many steps to get to these rooms.
I think you will find that many hotels have a policy of a maximum of 1 > 2 children sharing a room so you better look into this fully.I think your only option will be getting interconnecting rooms or a whole private villa which may prove pricer but maybe not.The other thing is that I don't think any of the villa's would be as close into town as hotels are but you often get a free driver included as well as other staff.If I was you I'd do a post asking about accomodation with 4 kids as well as asking about villas.You may have more luck trying this.It seems I may not have been able to help you as much as I had hoped to.
I vaguely recollected that I was even told even the huge old suites at the MBR would only allow 2 children in the room & these rooms are big enough to throw a party in !I think families that had more than 2 kids when we were there had interconnecting rooms.
Re getting emails to me returned , maybe you didn't remove the spam part .The only other thing is if you did get the address correct maybe you didn't mention either BTF or the Ubud Village & it was considered as spam when I received it & was deleted.
Anyway I hope you find a place you are happy with & can comfortably fit your family.
