It all sounds rather amazing. It wouldn't surprise me. I had another couple write to me to let me know that they too had lost money and if I had any details. The strange thing is. The lady that gave the great report and who I wrote to about it was uncontactable at around the same time and as soon as he was threatened and wrote to me months later, she wrote as well. I told her the story and of the coincidence and "she" laughed and said that she wasn't him but could understand. Through the other forum, I actually got them to check to see if the messages came from the same computer, but apparently not.
He has apparently left the country. I got to know someone that has a friend in Immigrassi and they were told about him and were going to go and let him have it. I contacted the British Embassy as well. The police know where he lives and so do I. I just felt bad for my boys.
He was wearing sunglasses but looked fairly fit, probably about 5'10, was wearing a baseball cap and dark sunnies so hard to really see. I suppose he had a fairly nice looking face but it was hard to tell with the scowl that he had on, and boy was he shocked to see me. I'm pretty strong willed and I don't think that he counted on that! I sure didn't let him walk over me and gave it to him (politely, but strong!) so that those working for him were disgusted with him and told him to just give me the money back. I made sure that I had witnesses but he wanted to talk to the police and my interpreter away from me. My interpreter was a good friend though (even though she was female) but the tourist policeman was wonderful and he could see straight through him.
If you see him...give him a slug for me. What a horrible thing to have happened when you were so volnerable. I'm sorry to hear it.
