Thanks for all the useful info. Just backed from Bali for 11 days, my 5th time there. Most time staying at Ubud, and 2 days in Legian and 2 days in Lovina. Though it's raining season, just 10 hours altogether facing rains, so lucky, but the weather seems a bit hot, not airy and windy.
I used to stay at Puri Asri Villa in Ubud with unbeatable price at only rp250,000 for Executive Villa. 4 villas are with private garden, nice environment, quiet, safety (with 2 guards working and searching at night time), with car transfer to Ubud central area.

The food for dirty duck is so good. Also Batan Warung is excellent. Of course many international food are unforgettable.
It's full when I came so I need to stay at their homestay for 4 nights, okay for such cheap price, rp70,000 daily with hot shower & bathtub, also 4 rooms only with privacy. Execellent breakfast (4 toast with butter & jam, jaffle / fried rice / omelette, and fruit plate and coffee or tea. Just breakfast is worth for rp20,000 but is included in the room rate, what can I say? Though you cannot expect to have change of bedsheets, pillow case, etc.
Also a good driver which I have used to use, young, funny, fluent spoken English with good and safety drive, good car with excellent aircon, just contact him by email saying referred by his Hong Kong friend is okay. He will give you my special price
