I don't think you will be bored with Ubud. Many art galleries and cultural dance shows. Monkey Forest. Markets, a bit smelly and maybe a bit pushy, but interesting and bargains to be had. endless restaurants, ranging from cheap prices to more classy, something for everyone. Try the Jazz Cafe for live music.
Short trip to the village of Tegalalang. Many woodcarving workshops, all selling direct. Good prices and you can bargain. Beautiful rice terraces on the way.
I believe there's a good waterfall near Ubud. Not found it yet. Something new for next time.
