I always recommend to my friends now that they get a sarong and put it in the backpack. You cannot go unless you are are covered with a sarong (A must in temple grounds anywhere) Buy one cheap when you arrive and you will save in Sarong Hire. Last March we paid a guide about 20,000 $3AUD for a guide and it was worth it. There was a group of 5 of us. His english was good. explained things, and made sure the aggressive monkey's stayed away from us.
