In the current forum 15 posts,Febuary 7 posts,January 28 posts that specifically mention the words S & S in them.Some recent posts even give very clear instructions & talk about maps re how to find S & S.
As Mic had already pointed out the last really extensive post was only a couple of days ago & not very hard to find.
I do not consider there is anything at all wrong with advising or assisting a new comer to learn about the fact that we do have archives here & that they ARE an absolute goldfield of information where a new person can learn a real lot - including answers to questions they may not had even thought of OR as in Mic's advise in saying " Scroll down."
There is a saying that goes something like - give a man a fish for a day & he will eat for a day,teach him to fish & he will eat for life - well it's something like that ! I am not in any way saying not to help new people re their questions - what I am saying is IF you tell them that they can also learn to find further info themselves it will be most beneficial to them & they will find out a lot more in the long run.More than likely if I had not mentioned the archives then Dan may have not know about them or the fact that they exist & how great they can be to use.
I did not & still do not in any way consider my post or tone of my words were in anyway nasty,rude,bossy or needed to be lightened up.It was meant to be helpful & I consider I provided useful information ! If anyone considers otherwise you definately took the post the wrong way & also maybe don't know the sort of person I am.In saying that I recognise you are still entitled to you opinion but there was no need to resort to name calling or being mean.
BTW- dan0303 another couple of really good places to get extra info about Bali is Filo's pages & Mic's site.May even be a worthwhile for you to go back & look through some of their posts because along with many others here the information & ideas they have are fantastic.
