Jalan laksmana 9locals call this "eat street" because of all the choices for dining) is walking distance from The Resor. (we have stayed there several times)
We tried lots of different places down there when we stayed at The Resor, italian, greek, turkish, the list goes on and on.
Also if you go out the front of The Resor and turn left (away from Kuta direction) there are some great places, La Lucciloas is one of our favourites, there is also Essence (although chef is now at Bali Mystique) Sate Bali (oppositite Santika Villas ) is fabulous Balinese food. Also close by Wina Warung had consistently good meals and very cheap.
There are so many you have absolutely nothing to worry about. A word of warning though, don't get meals at The Resor (food is not great) breakfast is fine but don't bother with other meals.
