There seems to have been a lot of discussion on the forum lately about being careful when choosing a Balinese sleeping partner.
Perhaps the term "silent partner" would have been better. But silence in a boom-boom-dugga-dugga club? Nah.
It's a bit like bringing ice to the Eskimos*, but if the concept is strong enough, there's no reason an extra club can't make enough money to keep itself afloat (hopefully at the expense of some of the dodgy clubs there now). I'd rather see more live music venues in Bali, though.
* Bringing ice to the Eskimoes is a bad cliche to use, since global warming is happening much quicker in the arctic regions, and thousands of homes in Alaska are collapsing as the ice in the ground thaws. So they could probably use a bit more ice at the moment.
