Why don't you ring the hotel and see if they have an vacancy. I know it is suppose to be for timesharers but I am sure I read on here a long time ago that they have rented out rooms when empty. Closest hotel is Aston Bali, classed as a four star, new hotel next to it called The Oasis, 3 star and the Villa Bintang up from the Aston is a three star. The beachfront has a path along it now so it would be a better walk to The Peninsula then on the street.
