I have a vague recollection that there is accommodation offered at the Water Palace itself but I'd suggest as other posters have done, that you have at least one night in Candi and investigate the possibilities of accommodation in Amlapura (which is a bit closer) or in Tirtagangga itself.
Another that might interest you is the water palace being restored near the coast less than 10 Km from Amlapura. It is called Puri Taman Ujung and was built by the same king as Tirtagangga.
