We have stayed at both.
LBH in April and again in June last year and the Mandira in 1984 and again Christmas 04 / New Year 05.
They are about the same as far as what they have to offer.
Breakfast was very good at both places.
Rooms were very nice at both places (the LBH rooms were bigger based on a similar room type).
They both have 2 pools - th LBH are both on ground level, the Mandira has one elevated pool.
Location of both is great - both back right onto the beach (as you may know, thy are next door to each other as well).
We only had dinner at both 1 night, both as good as each other.
The Mandira did have more cultural shows on during the week.
The LBH has a swim up bar at one of the pools.
The LBH bar pool has more shade - which is good if you have kids.
They both had kids pool shallow areas.
The LBH has a ramp to get into the bar pool (for older people or water wheel chairs).

p.s. we are going back again in April ... staying at the LBH again, yet are going to take up the deal of 2 nights at their sister hotel in Candi Dasa (as we stay more than 5 nights at the LBH).
