It was way back in around 1983 and it took me a few days to realise that just stopping for a chat with the Balinese was so much fun. Even in the Art Markets when I have had enough of looking, I just have a seat on the plastic stools and have a chat, how are you, is business good lately etc etc. My friend and I have had some really good laughs with hawkers etc and I love the Balinese sense of humour.
