The Peneeda is right next to the Hyatt on a very peaceful part of the beach, the Peneeda is a nice hotel but generally the patronage is European from Germany, Holland and Sweden.
Out of the hotel and turn left on the beach is a shady bautiful comfortable walk to the markets end of the beach where the Gazebo is located.
Out of the hotel and turn right to the Hyatt you can walk along the beach to the sanur beach hotel and Puri Santrian. Peneeda is central but isolated from both these areas.
The Gazebo is also very nice and right in the thick of the markets and action for Sanur.
Both hotels are a higher standard than Garden View, are right on the beach and popular. If you want quiet, no action Peneeda is the choice for what I would tink would be similar to GV for atmosphere I would choose the Gazebo. There is also the Griya santrian and Besakih to consider which are close to Gazebo.
