Trip number one will be nasty. Way too much there in my opinion, especially since uluwatu is in the complete opposite direction to ubud and kintamani.
Trip 2 is good! It is a very long day and it will be touch and go for the sunset at Tanah Lot. We did Bedugul, Git Git, Hot Springs, Pura Ulun Danu Bratan then back to Kuta on a day trip... Started at 8am or close and finished at about 4:30 or 5pm. A family we spoke to from our hotel did a similar trip on the same day, but decided on Tanah Lot for their final destination and they just missed the sunset as the driver had to slow down due to burning out the breaks on a steep decent. Without the break problem, it would have been timed perfectly. The cost of this trip will be getting close to the 300,000rp mark as it is a long way. Do this trip. Well worth it.
We have also found lunch to be a problem on these day trips because the driver will usually take you to a buffet somewhere where they get a kick back. The food is disgraceful and the joint will be full of other day trippers being sucked into the overpriced slop. Next time we will take a packed lunch to avoid any problems. We went hungry last time after walking out of one of these places near Lovina.
