I do not have to put solution/drops in my eyes each morning, although I occasionally put comfort drops in when I get hayfever. You may want to check the diameter of the lenses (written on the box), but from memory I think the sleep in type may be slightly larger than normal day wear ones (not sure as I have been wearing this type for ages now). By the way, you can use the sleep in type but still take them out each night if you like. If you have had trouble then I would advise maybe buy one box at the beginning of your trip ($20 approx for 6 lenses) and give them a try, if no good then maybe try another type, at the prices over there if you can find ones to suit you will save a fortune compared to Australian prices.
