Have stayed at both in the past 3 years (twice LBH and once Mandira). Both are good but beware of chance of being bumped to the Bali Dynasty in Tuban as LBH overbook regularly and also the sunlounges are quite uncomfortable (if you're planning on spending a bit of time lying around the pool). Found Mandira staff a bit more personable also. The upstairs pool at Mandira doesn't really have beach views as the trees surrounding it are too big but it's an infinity pool which is quite nice.
Personally after going to LBH last time (see my JBR from end of August) we decided we would stay at Mandira over LBH although we have actually booked Alum Kul Kul for our April trip instead and it worked out to be cheaper than both LBH and Mandira (flying API, booked through Flight Centre).
