a tad more but gear yourself up with some more info and talk to your B/F about plans on living or holidaying here with you so you can get all the info and advice you need. I think it can be complicated and there is a lot of red tape involved and you'll be forking out for passports, visa's etc so look right into it before making promises.
My Aunty tried to do this years ago, she had work set up in Australia for her friend for 12 months, she applied for passports etc. but it was all knocked back. I don't know all the in's and out's but it was a lenghty and disappointing process. Check Government websites as well for some info maybe? How long have you known him?
