I love that your son is so into cooking! The boiled bananas we had (not sure of the name but not pisang goreng as that is fried) was sooo good...the driver we had told me it was made by boiling the bananas in the sugar....I couldn't believe how good the sugar was...at the Asian store here they said they get different kinds but all are hard..so I am going to try it soon.
