A guide only:
Big hotels...Day of departure A.U.$10 per favourite staff member per week of stay. ( While that's only approx. A.U. $1.00 per staff member a day, there are lots of other tipping hotel guests at big hotels. Small hotels, double the tip.) I usually have about 2- 3 favourite staff members at any hotel.
Restaurants/taxis..10% of bill/fare.
Locals... Donate to a charitable organisation. Suggest A.U. $50 up.
