I am currently in Bali staying at the MBR. They are in the middle of refurbishing the restaurant (food is still only just passable). Last time we stayed in the old section (superior) but they seem to be known as something else now as we are now in the 'new section' not as nice as the old section.. rooms smaller.. but the one benefit is that everything is new and therefore works well.

Not sure about teh other place but Melasti does give good bang for your buck.
