at 19 the whole world was at my feet, but i never seemed to get any further than bali, loved the place. We stayed at the Bali Intan (THE place to stay as all the local balinese boys were allowed in)!!!!
Met my balinese boyfriend and continued over there for the next couple of years, stayed in losmens with him, travelled around on his motorbike, went home to his village and met his family (dont ask me where or even what his last name was, I was enjoying the moment)!!!! Have fotos of him...and me...too cute...wonder whats become of him, I know we used to stay in his room above a tape shop (as was the case then, remember the balinese mixed tapes!!! I had a Michael Jackson one, it was a beauty, smooth criminal etc. I think the exchange rate was 1700rup to 1 aussie dollar!! We thought that was good too!!!!!
Peanuts, Cock N Bull were all THE places to go and dance the night away, phew it takes the mind back....
