We went to the bird park fo the first time on our last trip in Dec / Jan. Also just opposite is the reptile park, although we did not go in as we has so many other things to do that day. The Bird Park was good - I must say that the one in Singapore is SO much bigger / better. YET, you should go and have a look - the kids will love it I am sure.
Maybe go over to the reptile park while you are there as well. We will try and have a look at the reptile park (and there is a Crocodile park at another location which we will also try and get to see on the next trip - in April. As you have 10 people to seat in a bus, PLEASE just make sure you get a bus big enough for everyone - I mean comfortably for everyone. Nothing worse than thinking you have X size bus for X number of people, and then find your all sitting on top of each other. Not fun especially if you have kids to keep happy.
