& NO I don't like to be rude BUT to all the people who " who ha " about having innoculations & say NO not needed & stir those of us who have had all the injections under the sun,just in case OR just maybe for once they may not be so quite high & mighty for a short period of time.
All I will say is my feeling is better safe than sorry,I've travelled around the world for way over 30 years & I'd far prefer to have too many injections than not enough !
I have been told that the so called "flu" I got in some part of Asia in the late 80's & lasted for months when I got home WAS definately TB AND - if I had NOT been innoculated against it before I would have become a very sick cookie.for a very long time .My contact with TB still shows up on my lung x-rays re scarring these days BUT I have no lingering effects & are fully clear now.This is only because I WAS protected via innoculations.
Yes - I am the biggest suke out re injections & do cry & need to hold my hubby's hand when I get an injection-BUT I'd prefer that for myself & my kids that getting sick.My advice to anyone is check with your local Doctor before you go re the shots you may need.
These days we don't just spend time in the tourist areas but we get truly out & about up North - IF you intend to venture around a bit out of the touristy areas make sure you let your Doctor know & ask him or her if you need extra shots for you or your kids .This can be VERY important for you & yours !!!
