So glad you enjoyed Bali, it's hard not too. I love the place & just plan each year when I will go & what I will do. The first place I ate at in Bali back in 1983 was Poppies. It's exactly like you described it, hell then paradise. I loved it so much that my back yard is a little Poppies,(live in Brissy so can have gingers,heliconias and the vine with the blue flowers on it, I hunted & found it and it's magnificent, grows rampantly here). Poppies also have cottages you can stay in, just further down the lane & on the left. They are very nice & have a fabulous outdoor bathroom. On you next trip try The Living Room, Ku de ta, Kori's, The Verandah, you will be hooked forever.
