who had a son murdered, allegedly over a drug deal argument. And Mrs Chambers, whose son was executed in Malaysia several years ago for being a drug courier, was a neighbour of mine when I lived in North Fremantle. The trouble and sorrow that getting involved with drugs can cause the family should be enough to put anyone off even trying them.
Unfortunately, people who get hooked are often too young to make a rational decision on anything as important as a lifelong addiction, but they are at an age when they think they know everything. This is not an attack on young people. I can remember very clearly when I was in my teens and early twenties and I did some pretty silly things, but fortunately dabbling in drugs was not one of them.
