to Bali and overseas for that matter... Was amazing.. and yes.. kuta was a very daunting experience (on our 2nd day) woww.. I was totally overwhelmed by the hawkers and couldnt wait to get back to our little oasis at RESOR SEMINYAK.. a peaceful, beautiful hotel away from the hussle and bussle. The Resor is the most wonderful place to stay. Beautiful gardens, GREAT swim up pool bar (which we loved as it was very social and got to meet lots of lovely people from all over the place). We stayed 5 nights here and were quite sad to leave, will definitely be going back to Resor. Then our next 5 nights were are Bali Niksoma.. beautiful room, great view of pools and ocean, but no atmosphere like Resor. NO swim up pool bar.. so no one really mixed much. But Niksoma was walking distance to shopping. This was our second week so we felt a bit better about the hawkers and learnt how to deal with them. We hope to go back again within this next 12 months. we loved it and felt quite safe too...
