Sanur has always been our favourite.
Kuta is like one of those places that get the tag "it's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there".....especially if your not under 25, single, and love the party life that Kuta is so famous for, and especially if you have kids with you. Kuta is only a 20 min ride @ around 40-50,000RP (AU$5.00-AU$6.00) so its nice to go do the Kuta shopping experience then retreat back to Sanur for some peace and quiet.
