Hi Jen we stayed there in 1997 and found it great. we took our two teenage children and they loved it. the rooms were lovely and the pool was great with a swim up bar. Like most hotels it had its own "ladies" to massage, plait, nails etc which was great if you didn't want to be hasseled on the street. The only problem we had was we were on the third floor and there are no lifts so at the end of the days shopping we had to either walk up the stairs or go up the ramp. We usually stay budget and have always found it to be fine. Lets face it by the end of the day all you do is sleep anyway. We are out most days either shopping or arround the pool and we don't tend to speand that much time in our rooms anyway. I would sooner have the extra money saved by going budget to spend!! Hope this helps. We leave Perth to go in about 10 hours and can't wait!!! and yes we are staying budget at the GArden Veiw
