Beach Towels

Hi,

I am off to Bali next month and am unsure whether to take a beach towel or not. I am staying at the Padma and assume they provide towels for their pool area, but I am guessing I will need one for days out snorkelling, to the beach, etc. Can hotel towels be taken out of the hotel? Or do I need to take one from home?
